The Greatest Attraction

If I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself. John 12:32

Dear Partners,

Easter is a time when as a nation we have the opportunity to lift Jesus up. It’s also a time to tell the world of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior and King. An a opportunity to share with them the relationship with God that Jesus’ life affords us. Jesus did for us what we could never do for ourselves. He lived the perfect life and then paid the penalty for our sins. On the cross He showed both the seriousness of sin and the depths of His love. A love that is so unconditional and unqualified. We now have access to the kingdom of God, not because of what we have done, but because of what Jesus has done.

The cross is the greatest attraction in the world. Jesus said if He is “lifted up” He would draw all peoples to Himself. Let’s lift Jesus up. Lift Jesus higher. Tell our friends and neighbors and family members of the grace that Jesus showed on the cross. There is no greater attraction!
