Peace
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:2b
This is the greeting that Paul used in all of his letters. His wish for all the saints is that we would experience peace because we have God’s grace. Grace is the means and peace is the end. The Hebrew word for peace is shalom. It speaks of God’s desire for us to be complete, healthy, have peace, prosperity, and contentment.
Paul knew that peace (shalom) is what God wants for all of us. That is why he wished it upon the churches he wrote to. What a blessing to know that peace is what our Heavenly Father wants for us. GOD WANTS YOU HEALTHY, HAPPY, HOLY, AND WHOLE!! He has made all of this possible thru Jesus our Prince of Peace.
So here is what you need to do: Receive the peace that God has for you. It is one of the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Believe that Christ died on the cross for your peace. Claim that you are whole. Speak to yourself the truth that God is making you whole. Then your life will begin to take on the peace that God wants for you.
Jesus calls us to be peacemakers. May you make peace, create peace in your life by faith. See yourself as healed and whole and you will become healed and whole. It is your right in Christ!
