Don't Lose Heart
"Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart".
Galatians 6:9
There is nothing more draining than discouragement. When we feel like giving up in the middle of a noble pursuit. It has been said, "Encouragement is the oxygen of the soul". When people recognize our efforts, or our plans succeed, it fills us with life. But opposite can be true as well. When we are not getting the results we long for, it can feel like the life is getting sucked right out of us. It is during those times of setbacks and disparity that we can be tempted to give up. Even quit. To get to the place where we are losing the heart to keep going, keep believing, and keep sacrificing.
Perhaps you or someone you know is going through a discouraging time right now. If so, take heart, don't lose heart! Why? Because God Himself promises that you will reap the good seed you have sown. You will get results. You will get your breakthrough. If you don't lose heart.
Our job is to keep living like Jesus and trust in Him for the outcome. The Lord wants you to be encouraged today. He will be faithful. He will come through. So hold onto His promise of reaping. It will come in due season. It will come at just the right time. So don't give up…EVER!
